Dice Roller Formula / How It Works

Clicking Roll calls the browser's cryptographic random number API (crypto.getRandomValues) to yield unbiased integer results between 1 and the specified number of sides for each die.

Formula:Total = Σ(Rolls) + Modifier; Average = Σ(Individual Rolls) / Number of Dice
Example Calculation:

For example, rolling 3d6 with a modifier of +2 will roll three separate six-sided dice (e.g. rolling 4, 3, and 5) and add 2, resulting in a total sum of 14.
